This Week: 11-11-1997 Tucson, AZ

Another great trio show here from Ani, Andy, and Jason (new guy) Mercer. Recorded at Centennial Hall at the University of Arizona. Gravel is always a fun high energy opener for a show, and right on its heels is a really stellar Willing To Fight, and great Little Plastic Castle. There's a wonderful intro on Letter to a John that gives us a little Rappers Delight, and Jason tries to slip in a little Super Freak at the end, but sadly no one bites. This show also features a rare and really beautiful appearance of Fixing Her Hair, and they give the new guy a little room to take the baseline for a walk. The rest of the set is just awesome classic 97 Ani and so so good, but we have tons of love for the double encore on this show. First up is Worthy and the delays on this are just so on point! And finally capping off the evening is a beautifully delicate Joyful Girl. -Enjoy. New bootlegs featured every week, airing Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights at 9pm CDT and Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings at 4am CDT.
