Avant/Folk Artist Wryn Learns to Let Go in New Single/Video for “Only Thing”

SANTA BARBARA, CA - Today, indie/folk singer-songwriter Wryn (they/them) releases “Only Thing,” the final single from the forthcoming album Shapes out March 28, 2025 on Righteous Babe Records. The album is available for PRE-ORDER on vinyl, CD, and digital.

“Only Thing” is a slightly anxious, love song about learning to let go of what you can’t control. “Life is always shifting and evolving,” explains Wryn. “And that’s a good thing. Change is the only constant.”

In the “Only Thing” video, director Dan Troon-Sazani captures this sentiment quite literally as Wryn rolls with the punches, taking what life hands them in stride while letting go of the rest. “It reminds me of those days when everything keeps going sideways, and then there’s that one final moment that pushes it all over the edge into absurdity. At some point, you just have to laugh.”

Wryn will preview the album Shapes with a hometown performance in Carpenteria on Saturday, March 22. Following, Wryn will accompany Righteous Babe founder/artist Ani DiFranco on the April run of the "Unprecedented Sh!t” Tour. Full list of dates with Wryn as support listed below.
