Ani DiFranco decorative banjo up for auction to raise money for Innocence Project New Orleans

Ani took some time out to turn a non-working banjo into a work of art for Innocence Project New Orleans 15th Anniversary Gala in New Orleans on Friday, June 3.

Even if you aren’t close enough to attend the Gala in person you can still bid on Ani’s snazzy banjo, and many other unique items thanks to the magic of the internet here: https://www.501auctions.com/ipno/item/213500

Founded in 2001, Innocence Project New Orleans (IPNO) represents innocent, life-sentenced prisoners in Louisiana and Mississippi at no cost to them, or their loved ones. As of March 2016, we have freed or exonerated 27 innocent prisoners, who served 558 years in Louisiana and Mississippi’s prisons between them.
